Summary of Blood of Elves Novel
The story starts when the empire of Nilfgaard attacks on the kingdom of Cintra. The queen named Calanthe commits suicide and her granddaughter Cirilla who is known as Ciri and Lion Cub of Cintra somehow flees from the city. But the emperor of Nilfgaard understands the importance of the young girl as she possesses some magical power and elven blood in her vein. So the emperor sends spies to find her.
The girl is safeguarded by a witcher named Geralt of Rivia and takes her to Kaer Morhen which is known as the witcher keep. There she gets trained by some experienced old witchers. But Geralt gets afraid of some of her occasional abnormal behavior and asks help from Triss. Triss refers Ciri to Yennefer, the former lover of Geralt.
Meanwhile, there appears a mysterious wizard called Rience who is looking for the girl. So Geralt along with Ciri and Triss leaves for Ellander. Yennefer reaches there and helps Ciri to get over her unusual behaviors. On the other hand, Geralt tracks Rience but Geralt gets greatly wounded by him. Yennefer becomes like a mother and mentor to Ciri and at the last, they both leave the Ellander.
