Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Download For Ppsspp

13

The goal of this project is to increase the quality of textures from the Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD game, while maintaining true to the original look and feel of the game. Optional extras will be included such as variations of the standard maps. Maps with a cell shaded style or maps indicating resource locations. This is the English Patched ISO of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD ver. Released by Team Maverick One. It’s the 5.0 patch, the latest one before they shutdown their website. This HD version is a remaster of the PSP version for PS3 but for technical reasons this game can be emulated with PPSSPP. In fact THIS ONLY WORKS ON PPSSPP.

So I've just found PPSSPP, and despite having a fully working PSP myself I know it would be nice to play MHp3rd HD on my PC.
Question is, what version do u all recommend I use.
ATM I got the version of the PPSSPP homepage, but some of the guides on the forum don't match the options available on this version.
So there is a bunch of other builds hosted on Github to choose from, which should I use for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD ??
If som1 could also list the Best possible settings for 'detail'. Im not lacking in PC performance as im using a 3930k CPU and 780 Classified GPU.
EDIT: I'd also like to add that on the default settings (except 10x render and 5x texture) I get some audio stutter with voices in yukomo village.

My recomendation is well the usual just use the stable release 0.9.8 dont use svn second the settings i use are this
stretch to display
postprocessing shader AA v2.0
rendering resolution 1x psp
anisotropic filtering off (if you have it on this cause lots of glitches in all the games is better to leave it off)
upscale level off
those are the best settings and it doesnt mean my computer isnt powerfull enough (im able to play GTA IV max settings) is just that the emulation is difficult so is better imitate a psp settings and you need to overcome details vitals for gameplay.
Ikkitousen Eloquent Fist runs 15% faster in ppsspp crash after being defeated or defeating some boss chara
Ikkitousen Xross Imact runs 15% faster in ppsspp crash after being defeated or defeating some boss chara and have a save proble
Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai 2 runs 120% faster
God Eater v1.01 Black Screen Freeze
Obscure The Aftermath Black Screen after the first video
and as you see the emulation isnt perfect it work somehow but you need to overcome vital details as some bugs made for the player to have advantage in some games that wont appear in ppsspp

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Thanks for the replys.
Ok so what about these settings.
Hardware Transform (what is it?)
Software Skinning (what is it?)
Deposterize (whats it do ?)
Texture Filtering (Nearest, Linear, or Linear on FMV ?)
Mipmapping set to off is ok ? From my understanding u 'should' get better quality with it 'off' ?
What about the system settings. Pritty much all the setting under 'Emulation' ?
I.e Fast memory, I/O On thread, etc.
Oh and what about 'Audio Latency' ?

Hmm yes I had read that post before hand. It didn't really give me much information.
I can understand it being a useful go to for people using low power devices, but im running on a high end PC and would like to know the fine details so I can eek out every little bit of visual fidelity I can, whilst minimizing instances of stutter.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
I had seen that post aswell. Cant say it helped that much tbh. I was hoping to find some Dev descriptions on what each feature did specifically, like iv found with other emulators and player/fan made programs.
Never the less it seems to be running fine with the latest build, no sound stuttering and only a small stutter when loading the main village as u enter. And that's running ,from what I can gather, max settings 10x res 5x texture res, FXAA (though would prefer MSAA or SSAA) mipmapping off, and a few other features that seem to be made for speed over quality turned off.
Probably wont be playing it that much as I tend to use my actual PSP 1000 (almost 10 years old now and still kicking (Jap imported on release)) for that lol, but will see how it goes.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Just download a pre patched version.
[Removed, warez links are not allowed.]
This is the one I used, its pre patched using Maveriks 5.0 patch and it works fine. Use the 'mirrors' links and select as the mirror. It will download in minutes and u can download all 3 parts at the same time.
(Disclaimer: I do not condone pirating worth whiles games, the MH series is most defiantly worth while. Check ur local laws on downloading ISO's/copies' as backups if u own the original.)

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Well it seems some people think it is useless some advice my advice was because i notice that the settings i posted work best im not joking but yeah some will complain trying to presume i have high end computer so i need to know the best settings as someone posted but my setting are the best why is simple
.- you wont get glitches like screen flick, screen divided (this happens when you use anisotropic filtering at 2x,4x,8x,16x) so is useless even if it looks better is kinda annoying playing with a screen divided or some stuff dissaapearing
.- is better if you use postprocessing shaders they wont make glitches
.- and last with those setting the games dont crash
I can already know that some will say 'those setting are usefull for people that dont have high end pc' but my setting are the best i used the highest settings and the games crashed like every 5 or 10 minutes of playing but with those settings the games dont crash and i play usually 3 to 4 hour each of my games
And my computer is a custom build high end computer
Processor Custom Nyagara 6 cores Hyper Threading 32 threads for each core Cpu Speed 5.3 Ghz each core
Ram 64 Gb
GPU Crossfire HD Radeon 2 Gb each
512 GB SSD
I wasnt joking with the best settings and my pc is a trully high end PC

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
I need some help with this I can play the game just fine however in the city I get between 7 fps and 10 and during quests I get 30 in some areas 10 and 20 in other areas I have looked at settings thread and it only improved a bit yet I still have a lot of lag I'm playing on android using ppsspp gold
I have gotten 60 fps during a cutseen

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
This game runs at 30 FPS when at full speed, and 60 FPS in menus (before loading the game) and FMVs.
With that said, your device might simply be too weak (or not be PPSSPP-friendly, e.g. Snapdragon) to play the game at a decent speed, if you can't find settings that seem to help. It's a good bit more demanding than MHFU.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (Japan) PSP ISO The fourth Monster Hunter game on PSP evolves the series by building on the best features from previous series entries, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for PSP and Monster Hunter Tri for Wii.

The third (technically fourth) iteration in the Monster Hunter PSP games. This one was never localized for the West except to other consoles as “Monster Hunter Tri”, so you have three options:

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Download For Ppsspp Windows 7

1: Learn some Japanese and put it on your PSP with CFW
2: See 1, but download the language patch by Team Maverick One, which translates all items’ names and descriptions, monsters’ names, important interactions, like the Village Chief and Guild Hall quests and most in-game messages.
3: Download the “HD” version with or without the language patch pre-applied and play it on Monster Hunter Portable 3rd PPSSPP.

Now onto the actual review.

This Monster Hunter game builds on the same engine as Freedom Unite/Portable 2nd G, except new weapons, attacks, mechanics and monsters have been added.

New features and quality-of-life improvements include:

For

• New weapon type – “Switch Axe” that changes from a slow battle axe to a fast great sword when you’re ready.

• New attacks, including a volly/mortar attack with bows, bashing with shields (sword), better combos with the gunlance, a charge-up attack with lances, a stationary “bottomless clip” mode with heavy bow guns, and a “slicing shot” for gunners to sever tails (works like Crag shots)

• New statuses (on fire, wet, muddy, electrified) and a new attack element, “fatigue”

• a cat can join you online

• up to 2 cats can join you offline

• cats can have up to 6 skills, depending on what skills you choose
• cats now have craftable weapons and armour

• cats can use boomerangs to attack at a distance

• cats can be trained in a lot more ways

• cats can be sent on their own gathering missions that subsequently give them experience.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Download For Ppsspp Iso

• the farm has been streamlined, as fishing and bug gathering is automatic.

• a hot spring is added to the guild hall that increases your health and stamina before missions. The stat bonus is increased with the completion of special “Hot Spring Quests”

• in conjunction with the hotsprings, special drinks are added that apply special bonuses ranging from faster climbing to increased attack. Also requires quest completion to augment the menu.

• Poogie has more outfits

• A special equipment slot was added, the Amulet. You can’t make them, but you can find them by mining or receive them as a quest reward, and they usually add high points towards “jewel” bonuses.

• by bringing up the menu in a quest, pressing select will pause the game. You no longer need to navigate to “Pause”

That’s all I can think of, but I’m sure you’ll find everything I missed as you play.

Definitely worth a play if you love the series.
